We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Waverley Education Foundation Trust to work across both Waverley School and Waverly Studio College.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and clearing away all equipment and materials for lessons. They will be required to support teachers in practical lessons as required and be confident to work with Science equipment, safely following all Health & Safety Regulations as necessary. The ability to use own initiative and work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines would be very helpful. They must have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety/COSHH Regulations for all Science equipment/materials. Applicants must also have a good general standard of education – A* - C in English, Maths and Science or equivalent.
The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Location: Castle Bromwich, Birmingham
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £19.83 per hour (Plus Continental shift does have a shift allowance uplift)

Hours: Continental shifts: 4 on / 4 off: 6am - 6pm (2 days), 6pm-6am (2 Days) then 4 days off
OR
Dayshift: 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7.00am – 4.00pm with an earlier finish on a Friday

A Global Manufacturer within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear and Renewable Energy sector are currently seeking to recruit for their Production facility based in Castle Bromwich for a Senior Maintenance Technician.

Working for this well-established employer you will be joining the maintenance team to undertake planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of Production machinery.

The company is experiencing growth and are looking to take on an additional permanent team member.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring all electrical equipment and wiring is serviced and maintained to comply with all relevant regulations
• Ensuring scheduled services are carried out in a timely and professional manner
• Attending Breakdowns as and when they occur
• Leaving machines in a safe and tidy condition
• Carrying out Fixed Wiring Testing and Repairs as required
• Undertaking daily machine walk rounds, noting down any required maintenance
• Undertaking clean down of machines ensuring running safely for Production Operatives
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed for each Task and signed off

The successful applicant must possess:

• Experience of working as a maintenance electrician / technician / engineer within a production / manufacturing environment is essential.
• Formal electrical qualifications (16th, 17th or 18th Edition)
• A solid working knowledge of electrical production machinery, fault diagnosis, repair and servicing.

We are a looking for a Structural/Civil Technician with a background in residential and commercial projects in the UK.

As a Structural/Civil Technician you will be skilled and familiar with AutoCAD, Revit and either PDS or Civils 3D.

Capability of complex design is desirable, and good organisation, communication and presentation skills along with a good understanding of general processes and quality assurance standards is essential.

You will have at least 2+ years' experience working within an Engineering Consultancy and should be confident in the daily use of Revit and AutoCAD.

Candidates for the Technician position must have previous experience working to British Standards and Eurocodes to comply with UK legislation on the required projects, with demonstrable experience in detailing of steel and concrete.

You will be working alongside side senior staff to provide CAD drawing and infrastructure design support, and will be required to have excellent knowledge of infrastructure standards and Local Authority design standards.

Your role will involve undertaking and editing designs to form part of technical submission packs for detailed designs, as well as the editing of designs following receipt of comments from adopting authorities and engineers.
