The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and clearing away all equipment and materials for lessons. The opportunity

Technician – Animal Management

We are looking to recruit an experienced Animal Management Technician for our brand-new Animal Management facility. The unit comprises of multiple rooms housing a wide range of small mammals, exotic mammals, aquatics, reptiles, herptiles and insects.
You will be responsible for organising and carrying out routine care of our animals and their brand-new facilities and ensuring a high degree of animal welfare. The role will include managing a small team of part time technicians and rotas to always maintain cover in the unit. Also planning rotas for lecturers to utilise rooms for the requirements of our students on various Level 1,2 and 3 courses along HNC/HND. Maintenance and ordering of stock and equipment will also be essential.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of working with animals and a related qualification. Ideally you will have worked as a technician before in a similar setting, but are looking for a new challenge to grow an already established department. The experience to work with small groups of students would be an advantage. The college is planning to establish a dog grooming and training facility in 2025 so any expertise in this area would also be desirable although not essential.

The Role
Hallfield School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and competent IT Technician, with relevant experience in a similar help desk role, to assist in providing essential day-to-day user support and network and systems maintenance across the School.
The post holder will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, audio-visual components and other network devices as well as experience of supporting users within a Microsoft Windows environment.

The Role
Hallfield School is seeking to appoint a skilled Estates & Maintenance Assistant to assist with day to day maintenance and compliance of the School estate. This is an integral role within the Estates team and the successful candidate must be confident to lead and complete projects such as minor alterations and refurbishment tasks.
NVQ Level 2 or above in any trade such as carpentry, plastering, plumbing or construction would also be advantageous. In addition, any experience in multi-trade skills would be highly desirable.

Under the instruction/guidance of the Deputy Facilities Manager provide maintenance and security services on the Academy sites and premises. You will be based at one of our schools in Coventry but will be required to work at all of our sites nearby.

The PE Technician would be part of the Sport and Nutrition faculty, supporting the practical function on a day to day basis, also offering the opportunity to support after school activities.
This permanent position is 37 hours per week, term time only (including INSET days).
The initial rate of pay is the equivalent of £13.24 per hour, paid monthly over 12 months. The pay scale has five spinal points and increments are awarded in September until the top of the pay scale is reached. The actual starting salary is £21,972 per annum.

We require a full time IT technician to work with our IT team to maintain and improve our school network infrastructure. This is a customer facing position, whereby you will deliver swift and effective support to teaching and support staff and other professionals within the classroom and school offices. As such you must be experienced working within a fast moving business/school setting and be able to maintain, install and monitor IT equipment.
A recognised IT qualification and knowledge, or understanding of, IT in a school setting would be advantageous, but is not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
