The Global Security Manager for Physical Security Operations and Networking plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the global physical security operations and network. Collaborating closely with the Physical Security Excellence Manager, this role involves defining network functions, managing country coordinators, ensuring the implementation of local security measures, crisis management, and overseeing audits, assessments, and controls across Roquette facilities including JVs and remote sites.
You will be part of the corporate global security team and partnering with various internal and external stakeholders. You will assist the Physical Security Excellence Manager set and implement the security strategy for the company while fostering an environment of trust and communications.
Reporting to the Head of Global Security, the focus of the role is to deliver security excellence globally, including the implementation of relevant policies, directives, and procedures and to provide direction and support to relevant stakeholders to implement and manage security strategically and operationally.
The role will require the ability to demonstrate detailed operational performance measurements, aligned with all business interests at designated sites, along with liaison with Global Security counterparts. The role holder will have a remit to help design, deliver and implement site specific solutions within the Global Security management framework and to provide a professional interface with stakeholders; ensuring that the necessary protections are in place for core business and sites and any identified security threats are adequately mitigated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will work hand in hand with the Global Security Manager and the Physical Security Excellence Manager on all matters concerning physical security as follows but not limited to:
Network Management:
Define roles and functions for country security managers and correspondents within the network.
Validate nominations for network members and manage authorisations.
Lead and train the network of security correspondents, providing support in physical security practices.
Disseminate Global Security directives and instructions to the network.
Manage and oversee the network members' activities and performance.
Local Security Implementation:
Validate and ensure the effectiveness of site security organisations.
Ensure the presence and relevance of key security documents (zoning plans, prevention plans, etc.).
Define and validate site contracting policies.
Review specifications and contracts before site agreements with security companies are finalised.
Ensure the ongoing relevance of contracted security services.
Propose and validate security improvement projects.
Validate deployment plans for security projects at various sites.
Identify and implement new technologies to improve security staffing and cost efficiencies across all sites.
Prepare and present data related to security at a regional level and support site and regional resources in doing the same.
Crisis and Event Management:
Support the Regional Crisis Management Teams (RCMTs) including the security correspondents and site managers, in an advisory role during a crisis event and be the primary contact for security incident response.
Ensure the adequacy of security instructions during incidents or crises.
Oversee timely and professional response to security incidents and investigations.
Ensure incidents are properly documented in the Security Reporting tool.
Develop action plans that include immediate risk mitigation measures and short-term resolution plans for incidents.
Be the point of contact for all events security management
Audit, Assessments & Control:
Carry out site security reviews (assessments) and prepare a security review schedule and ensue that KPIs relating to report timelines are met.
Participate in security audits when required.
Ensure security controls are implemented by security correspondents across various sites.
Collect security self-assessments and assessment reports from all sites.
Gather compliance and audit reports related to security.
Support local and regional security correspondents and site managers during physical security audits.
Modernise security policies to align with company values, reduce risk, adapt to industry best practices, and comply with customer requirements.
YOU WILL ALSO:
Prepare monthly reports on accomplishments, problems and opportunities with accompanying KPIs.
Track data and report monthly about security service levels, internal client satisfaction / feedback.
Assist with the development of a global security awareness and training programme.
Help develop and implement comprehensive physical security solutions (including a site security assessment tool) ahead of evolving compliance requirements to support strategic business goals.
Have the direct management role of the incumbent Regional Security Manager Greater Asia.
Establish key relationships with government agencies such as the local police, consulate personnel, international agencies etc to establish and maintain relationships and communications about physical security and incident management.
Work closely with General Managers, Business Managers, Site HS&E, Facilities Management, Audit and Legal Counsel to understand corporate requirements and regulatory compliance related to security and map those requirements to the security strategy (including projects).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 7 - 10 years in the security industry, police, or military, of which a minimum of 5 years should be in a management role.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a security, risk, or emergency management related subject.
Fluent English and French (written & spoken) is a must, additional languages advantageous.
Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly changing and challenging multi-matrix environment.
Qualified to obtain a French government security clearance.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Industry specific qualifications are preferred (ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent).
Experience in the manufacturing industry environment.
Crisis Management expertise
Experience managing security at a company that has a Food Defence and Authorised Economic Operator (OEA) requirement.
Experienced communicator with excellent influencing skills and a proven track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional leadership, organisational, team building, collaborative and process management skills, and effective critical thinking, independent judgement and decision making – results orientated.
Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and negotiation skills.
An excellent team player who enjoys his work and is fun to work with!
