Currently, the business operates in a very reactive way towards maintenance; you will be expected to support the business in transitioning towards a more PPM led schedule.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Operations Manager vacancy, you must have a proven track record of managing diverse teams within a manufacturing environment. In addition to this, you will be required to have strong leadership credentials, an understanding of lean / six sigma processes, and the desire to continue with personal / professional growth. Ideally, you will have worked within the Recycling, Energy from Waste (EFW) or a similar heavy industry, however this won't be crucial to the success of your application.

What you'll get in return
As the Operations Manager, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £55,000. In addition to this salary, you'll be given a variety of internal and external training courses to support your continued development. As a part of the site leadership team, you will also be entitled to their leadership bonus scheme.

Brief Job description

· Your role will involve the delivery and collection of small and large plant equipment between our clients customers' sites and our client's depot.

· Experience with tail lifts and using winches - desirable

· Some heavy lifting may be involved

· No more than 6 points for Speeding offences.

· Minimum 3 months experience

· Safety boots and Hi Viz required

· Minimum of 6 hours pay

Hours 07.30 - 17.00 Mon - Fri

Pay £12.00p/h

This is initially for holiday cover for this week but this will open up to more regular work for the right person.
