The HR Assistant (Recruitment & Placement) Onboarding Team supports the Human Resources Management Service at all facilities within VISN 1. The work consists of accomplishing HR assignments and processing administrative tasks. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting onboarding related tasks to hire personnel into the agency/facility ensuring they meet all regulatory and legal obligations;
• Conducting New Employee In-processing (NEI) during New Employee Orientation (NEO);
• Providing assistance to customers and stakeholders onsite;
• Maintaining electronic personnel records (e-OPF);
• Entering new employee/applicant data into electronics systems/databases (ex. PIV system, IT tickets, USA Staffing, etc.);

The Recruiting Manager position will lead a team of 6 Talented Acquisition professionals ranging from mid to Senior level experience.  You will create and execute a strategy that considers security clearances at higher levels with the Maryland customer. Your Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more sites

• Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing solutions
