They are looking for a candidate who has experience in accounting and / or bookkeeping that wants to carry on with their career in practice. This role is an important position within the finance team, providing great exposure to different aspects of accounting.

Your new role
My client is looking to appoint a Semi-Senior Practice Accountant.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role of the Semi Senior Accountant will work within a highly experienced team and will be responsible for the following:

• The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
• Client bookkeeping
• Preparation of Management Accounts

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have developed a minimum of 3 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA. Applications would also be welcome from individuals who have decided not to pursue the formal qualifications route.


What you'll get in return

• Starting salary - around £25,000 - £30,000 (depending upon experience)
