Job Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations for team members in their span of care. The work includes employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  The HR Business Partner partners with the Director, Associate Relations Strategy from time to time but generally has autonomy to perform the role.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

• Provides guidance and support to team members and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Handles team member inquiries and concerns, including investigations and corrective actions, when needed, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
• Promotes positive team member relations and fosters a productive work environment.
• Implements performance management systems and processes to ensure team member growth and development.
• Assists in development of leaders in setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback.
• Identifies training and development needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
• Supports leaders in the execution of talent reviews, succession planning, and team member development planning.
• Assists leaders in the annual compensation planning process, partnering closely with the compensation team to evaluate market data.
• Partners with leaders to review organizational design and work to implement changes as needed.  Staying on top of industry trends.
• Supports and implements HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Stays informed about changes in employment legislation.
• Ensures HR practices are consistent with company values, culture, and legal requirements.
• Maintains accurate and confidential team member records and HR databases.

The Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the talent engine fueling a high growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years progressive Human Resources Business Partnership experience required.

Job Description

The Organizational Change Management Consultant will work within human resources, and have primary responsibility to:

• Design, build, and support the implementation of an Organizational Change Management (OCM) plan to meet the needs of HR Transformation, especially focused on stakeholder management and engagement; strategic communications; and learning / training.

• Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact analysis, training needs assessment, and other up-front work, and gain buy-in through consultation, communication, training or other engagement with managers or staff.

• Partner with internal resources for operational activities and implementation of the OCM Plan

• Build OCM infrastructure including tools, resources, and approaches to enable repeatable program.

• Design and implement a robust knowledge transfer approach and coach / mentor ECH employees in OCM

• Lead client teams in successfully implementing change management strategies to drive adoption of client initiatives.

• Partner with program leads and project managers to integrate change management activities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in human resources, business, social science, or related field required, or equivalent experience.  Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 12 years of HR management, organizational change management, large scale transformation programs, and/or organizational development management experience

• Change management related degree and/or certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP)

• Knowledge of HR processes and tools

• Consulting experience preferred.

• Extensive experience in executing change management strategies and partnering with organizational teams in the design, development and implementation of plans is preferred.

• Experience applying advanced knowledge of OCM processes, methods, and best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in building OCM methods, tools, and practices.

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to routinely interface at all levels of the organization quickly and interchangeably.

  • Engages with executives to share approach, provide context and rationale, and exchange insights and value proposition

  • Mentors / coaches team members

• Demonstrates ability to build relationships and interact with senior management and key partner groups

• Ability to quickly understand organization’s current technologies, practices, and strategic direction

• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.

• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring OCM team(s)
