A minimum of 2 months teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements), have the right to work in the UK, and you must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS.

If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor, provided you have worked with children for at least 30 days in the past 2 years.

Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS4. The role is to commence from September 2024 and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis for the full academic year. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Science to KS4. You must be able to commence the role from September 2024 and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
