The CYP with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a Learning Disability Postgraduate Diploma programme involves both academic learning, coursework and supervised clinical practice. Alongside this, the post holder will work with colleagues in a specialist CFHD pathway, building relationships and wider skills in working children and young people with emotional and mental health needs in the community. The Equity Research department covers over 925 stocks across diverse sectors, and provides equity strategy, quantitative analysis and portfolio management services to our clients.  Within this, we are currently searching for an associate for our Retail & E-commerce research team in our New York office.

Description

As a Senior Equity Research Associate, the successful candidate will work closely with an award-winning analyst, providing insights and research on numerous companies across the Consumer Discretionary spectrum. The work environment involves collaboration, co-ordination and a shared knowledge base with the analyst and rest of the team but equally values self-thinking, idea generation and a sense of ownership for the work. The role requires attention to detail and values/rewards an ability to think outside the box, challenging the status quo.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Writing of research reports and comments

• Analysis of financial statements and press releases

• Examination of industry databases and publications

• Completion of extraordinary information and data requests

• Creation and maintenance of detailed financial models

• Communication of recommendations to internal and external clients

• Participation in site visits and management meetings

Experience/Skills

A combination of writing skills, technical knowledge and skills in equity research, investment banking, finance or accounting demonstrated through relevant work and educational experience is required. Prior industry experience in the consumer industry is not required but could be a benefit.  Candidates must have a clear and proven track record of achievement throughout their education and career. Other necessary attributes include:

• Written and verbal communication skills

• A keen interest in Equity Research

• A positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, the ability to learn quickly and strong attention to detail

• Superior work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently

• Ability to systematically manage a heavy work load and meet stringent deadlines

• Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours

• Solid technology skills with robust knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg

Education/Experience

Candidates should have 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA, CPA/CA and/or CFA certification is a plus.

U.S. only: SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses are a plus.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children and Young People Support Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young individuals, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a good understanding of emotional, mental health, and behavioural issues

As a Senior Children’s Support Worker, your main duties will be to:

Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child.
Work collaboratively with a team of support workers to create a positive and nurturing environment.
Implement care plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
To be a Team Leader, we require you to have:

Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent.
Experince working with young adults who have challenging behaviours
Experience of Shift leading
Experience of supervising care staff.
Completing LAC reports and attending external meetings
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Must possess a valid driving license and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to make a difference.
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required.
