Learning Support Assistant Role - January 2025

Hays Education are seeking a Learning Support Assistant for an SEN School in Manchester to join their provision team in January 2025. This individual must be passionate and committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Randstad Education is experiencing an increasing demand for Teaching Assistants in the WN7 area of Wigan. We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to cover day-to-day and long-term positions in a variety of primary schools.

About the Role:

• You will provide support to teachers and pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, assisting with a range of classroom activities, including:

* Supporting individual pupils with learning activities and interventions
* Providing small group instruction
* Assisting with classroom management
* Supervising pupils during activities

• You will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• You will be flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively in different schools and settings.
• You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with both pupils and staff.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development

Details:

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 3:15 pm
• Placement types: Day-to-day and long-term
