• Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week. Term-time only

As a Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to promote personalisation of learning and support given to each student. The school have designated learning areas and a devoted team that aim to provide the best possible learning experiences for students with additional needs. There is a close-knit team of Learning Support Assistants who work closely with the SENCO to utilise their skills and knowledge in the best way possible.

This school is located near central Liverpool – it is commutable from around Merseyside with excellent transport links and main roads directing towards the school. There is also a car park for staff to use. The school is within a deprived area and welcome a diverse range of students through the door – it is an exciting and rewarding place to work and has been recognised by the local community for the progress they have made. Although previous SEN experience is preferred, the school also offers bespoke training and is looking for the right type of character to join them – someone passionate and willing to get stuck in.

The school are looking to trial the right candidate ASAP in order to have enough time to create a positive relationship with the students and become an important part of the support team. The role will start from September and providing all goes well for the successful applicant and the school, it will run long term throughout the next academic year.
