Learning Management, Manager
As a pivotal member of the Marketing Excellence team, the Learning Management Lead will play a crucial role in driving the execution and enhancement of a comprehensive program aimed at elevating the skills of marketing at Amgen.
This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing the learning management system (LMS) and SharePoint sites to ensure a seamless learning experience for participants, as well as own robust content development.
Responsibilities include:
As the Marketing Leadership Development Program Designer, you will:
- Oversee the optimization of the learning management system (LMS) and SharePoint sites, ensuring that all content is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Provide a positive online engagement with marketers across the globe, acting as the home base for all marketer learning and development.
- Maintain and grow key content for marketers focused on core competencies.
- Act as a champion for diversity and inclusion, ensuring that learning programs are inclusive and accessible to all participants.
- Own the Marketing Excellence branding across all assets.
- Lead engagement with vendor partners.
Key Activities:
- Collaborate with Marketing Excellence and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of training programs with organizational goals and learner needs within the LMS and SharePoint environments.
- Evaluate training and platform effectiveness through clear KPIs, and an agile mindset for optimization.
- Manage learning materials and resources, providing beneficial learning journeys across medias and platforms.
- Build and deliver strong content that is aligned to Marketer’s Core Competencies.
- Develop and manage the integrated project plans with timelines.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills, and ability to influence behaviors and outcomes in the absence of direct authority.
- Ability to coach, motivate others toward higher performance.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 4years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Associate’s degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years industry experience within the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical field, with advanced understanding of key functions; including, but not limited to, Learning and Development/Training, Instructional Design and Marketing
- Analytic ability for tracking and measurement
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Strong project and time management abilities
- Creative thinking and innovative approach to training
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with collaborators
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly and effectively present cross-functionally and at all levels, formally and informally
- Curious, with excellent listening skills; able to challenge current thinking
- Proven experience in managing learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Have strong knowledge of training evaluation techniques and metrics
- Be an Advanced student in Project Management, and Foundational level in Experience Design and Experiment to Learn, Competencies
- Have broad knowledge of the learning & development field

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

120,385.00 USD - 149,715.00 USD
