Role Overview:

To support the delivery of an excellent customer experience across the Heritage, Libraries, Arts and Archive service for all users, partners, and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• To deliver excellent customer service at all times and to provide safe, welcoming services that are fully accessible for users from diverse backgrounds.
• To respond to customer enquiries by providing accurate, high-quality information including the provision of Council information, tourist information, business, health, local and community information and information about collections and programmes of activity.
• Helping customers in the use of ICT, new technologies and internet-based resources.

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the
Registered Nurse contributing to the ongoing assessment, providing, and monitoring care in
line with the service pathways and as agreed with supervising clinician(s). They will monitor
the condition and health needs of people within their care on a continual basis in partnership
with the multi-professional team.
The main role of the Nursing Associate will be participation in the treatment and physical
health clinics across the borough footprint. In addition to being a part of a multidisciplinary
team who administers anti-psychotic medication, offers the treatment of ECT and monitors
the physical health of patients open to secondary mental health services.

Part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust, The Springboard Project, based in Oldham town centre, provides high quality, innovative alternative educational experiences for pupils and students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties) across the 14-19 age range.

The young people attending the Springboard Project experience a personalised approach to their learning. They are taught by fully qualified specialist teachers, industry experts and support staff sensitive to their needs, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. It is a unique place where pupils are nurtured and developed to encourage independence and skills for life, and their social, emotional and mental health needs are at the forefront of our work.

Due to the complex nature of our students, high levels of emotional and physical resilience are needed in dealing with challenging behaviour. However, the knowledge that our work is making a positive impact in helping the young people to grow and work towards independence brings great reward.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Admissions and Education, Health & Care Plan Co-ordinator to support the admissions and annual review process across the school.

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that all processes relating to individual Education, Health and Care Plans are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements. This will involve facilitating the annual review process for individual students. The role also involves active participation in the admissions process; liaising with professionals in order to share information or to gather further evidence for the Admissions Panel and working flexibly with other schools to promote a speedy and smooth admission process for the students into the school. Previous experience in this area of work is preferable, although full training will be given. Key requirements for any candidate are:

• Communication skills to influence, persuade, motivate and engage with a wide range of children, young people and their families including presenting to a wide range of audiences.
• Listening skills to support children, young people and their families through understanding their point of view in a non-judgemental approach.
• Experience of using computer packages for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mails and researching information.
• Experience of undertaking a wide range of office-based administration and clerical tasks.
• Initiative to plan and prioritise own workload without close supervision and to respond to unexpected problems using recognised procedures and policies as a guide.

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to make full time appointment for a consultant psychiatrist to work in the Older Age Psychiatry service.

The Older age wards are Rowan and Cedar which are situated at Parklands House at Royal Oldham Hospital.

To provide high-quality Mental Health Care for Older people with severe and enduring mental health problems both inpatient and outpatients. To work closely with other teams and Consultants to ensure coherent and high-quality mental health care for older people within the Oldham area.

Our services are specialised to help diagnose dementia as early as possible, so we can support you to remain as healthy as possible while living with the illness. We can also provide advice and support if a family member of someone you look after has dementia. Our services can also support you with a range of moderate to severe mental health problems, such as depression, bi-polar disorder, delirium, and severe anxiety. Some of our services are based in community buildings and clinics, but we also have the specialist wards and units located on hospital sites.

Close co-working with colleagues from the community services is essential to guarantee that patients are safely and effectively treated, and that discharge from hospital is followed by prompt and reliable community support. The consultant in this post will have a part to play, with others, in ensuring that the transitions from community treatment to hospital care and back again are safe and seamless as far as possible.
