You will be an inspirational role model to all scholars, but particularly for those who may need additional support. You will need to work with identified groups of scholars, with barriers to learning, to improve their life chances, behaviour management and wellbeing.There is a confidentiality component to this role and the post holder needs to hold the trust and confidence of both staff and scholars.Experience gained within the education or welfare sector is essential, as you will need to lean on your experience to deliver the requirements of the role. Experience of working with students in a pastoral role is desirable, but not essential.Understanding the benefit of early intervention, Multi Agency working, Safeguarding and Child Protection are essential and any formal training in CP is highly desirable. Experience of being a lead professional, writing Early Help records and attending TAC meetings would be desirable, but not essential.The ideal candidate will have passed their GCSE English and Maths at grade C/5 or higher and will have studied to A level or Degree (although this is not essential). ABOUT THE ROLE

ABOUT YOU
