About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital, Data and Technology department as a Digital Transformation Manager supporting our new Digital Business Relationship function. This is a rewarding role allowing you to support the department in providing exemplary customer service and providing knowledge and expertise in this exciting field.

This position will be responsible for the coordination of digital transformation, managing the implementation of new applications, as well as the lifecycle of several existing key applications within the Service catalogue. This will include budget planning, and management, performance reporting, planning improvements and stakeholder engagement. The position will promote a customer first approach to service delivery as well as working with external vendors to manage relationships and ensure the continued operation, scalability, and security of these applications, implementing and maintaining effective processes for their management, while identifying and implementing improvements.

To be responsible for the quality of work within the area and ensure that all staff working in this area meet the necessary standards of speed, quality and accuracy, appropriate to the level of experience and training. To be responsible for the implementation and management of all internal quality control/quality assurance systems in the Neuropathology and continue to develop and coordinate laboratory policies for these systems. To lead the participation of the Department in the Neuropathology module of the National External Quality Assurance Scheme. Develop, coordinate and maintain the Departments programme of continuous service review in accordance with internal and external quality control systems and within the Trusts framework of continuous quality improvement. Assist in the process of continuous quality improvement. This will include audit, corrective action, preventative action and improvement processes. To be responsible for the promotion, identification and implementation of efficiency measures within the section. Work with technical leads in the other sections to ensure that efficiency measures identified within the Department are implemented.
