A minimum of 2 years prior experience in ICM, anaesthesia or general medicine is required, including at least 3 months ICM and suitable advanced airway skills. These posts are at registrar level, and successful candidates will be expected to have completed foundation training, have 2 years post foundation experience in acute specialties and to be competent to work with indirect supervision within the intensive care unit. It also includes management of referrals from other departments within the hospital, including the Medical Admissions Units and the Emergency Department and providing medical support for the nursing outreach service. Supervision and teaching of more junior Critical Care residents is an important part of this post.

The posts are intended to provide experience in adult critical care medicine including intensive care training equivalent to that recommended by the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.

One of your key responsibilities as Senior Care Assistant is to maintain accurate records of the job you do and build strong relationships with the rest of your team.

About You
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care and are prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, a background in person centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. What’s essential, though, is your brilliant positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You’ll know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

About the role


Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will ensure the delivery of a positive customer experience through the provision of timely and quality onsite Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, based on IT Service Management best practices and by following operational procedures and service level agreement timelines. You will focus on the delivery of onsite service and IT infrastructure support for InfraBuilds customers.
