Scope of the role

Creative Support has an established nationally focused quality department, which undertakes aspects of quality assurance work, compliance and good practice work nationally across our service user groups. The role of Senior Quality Practitioner – Medication Lead is a newly developed role which will significantly contribute to quality assurance across the organisation. You will be based within the Quality team and will contribute to our audit and social care governance processes. Full induction and comprehensive training provided. The role is newly developed and hence the successful candidate will be involved in the strategy for the role in conjunction with the Head of Quality. This is a progressive role for an experience professional in Health and Social Care with a passion for high standard of health support and medication good practice. We're looking for a motivated Ecommerce Content Assistant to join us to create and manage media and campaign assets across our Co-op websites. It's a big job. But if you have the ecommerce experience and natural communication skills that we're after, then we can offer you the chance to define your profile with a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.

In this varied role, you'll work cross-functionally with our internal Web Merchandising team, media centre and third-party agencies. Your main responsibility will be to implement both Co-op campaigns and branded media activity on our Co-op website. Your new role
In this role, you will be working in a modern office amongst a friendly team of engineers. Your primary focus will be helping deliver conceptual and detailed design across the above-mentioned sectors. You can expect to see projects through to completion and will report on the progress to more senior members of the team. With time, you will take on more responsibility and experience with opportunities to progress in the future.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 4 years' UK Building Services experience and be able to work autonomously and as a team with good technical knowledge of mechanical Building Services design.


What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 DoE along with a competitive leave entitlement. You will be working in a modern office with a parking space available.

The Social Care Governance Data Manager will oversee and lead on important elements of our Social Care Governance (SCG) processes. A key element of the role is ensure new quality software is developed and implemented helping with localised quality data oversight, recording all audits, training, meetings and quality actions. We have an established duty desk system that runs 24/7 from our Head Office in Stockport. You will maintain and continue to develop a database and tools to assist the smooth running of this essential service.

Other responsibilities will be:
1. To ensure relevant polices are in place, ensuring we are GDPR complaint, using the safest most effective IT systems and practices.
2. To support efficient processes to aid the Quality team work
3. To ensure daily upkeep of IT systems relevant to the role
4. To offer an online and phone support helpdesk type service through your team
5. To attend relevant strategic meetings and bring prepared reports of relevance to these meetings
6. To enable excellent information management systems that meet the needs of our diverse services at the request to senior management and the senior leadership team in the Quality department.
7. To work closely with our IT department, Online Systems team and their leads on data across departments to ensure an excellent service is provided to front line services.

Operative must contribute to the On Call Rota - additional payments are made for on call, including generous flat rate payment and enhanced payments when called out.

Your Responsibilities:
An ability to coordinate with other disciplines and liaise effectively with clients and suppliers.
Responsible for running projects independently.
Preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure assets including treatment works, pumping stations, sewers, and pumping mains.
Preparation of Appraisal Reports and Business Cases.
Supervision Senior Engineers, Project Engineers, Graduate Engineers and Technicians.
Preparing contract documentation for construction projects.
Leading design team meetings and client liaison meetings as appropriate.
Supporting large schemes and leading small schemes within the technical design team and providing technical guidance to our water and wastewater project teams.
Developing, with training and support, your technical skills towards becoming an industry expert
Ensuring efficient project delivery, and supporting our project managers.
Operating in accordance with corporate and regulatory health and safety, environment, and quality standards.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Previous experience in wastewater or water infrastructure design or project management
Strong technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projects
Infrastructure civil engineering including infrastructure developments; drainage and site layout and multi-disciplinary design leadership
Good communication skills and ability to engage with all members of the project team
You should demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team sharing knowledge and best practice
Good understanding of the CDM requirements
Proactive and keen to take ownership of client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business
Good motivation, influencing, and people management skills so that you can lead a team and provide support for developing engineers whilst continuing to develop your career.
Qualifications:
Preferably degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical subject. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
Chartered or working towards chartership
Affiliation with a professional institution like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM, or in the process of working towards membership and nearing application.
