The UKHSA Data Design & Architecture (DD&A) team is responsible for supporting data architecture and data solutions across the organisation. We are a small team of solution architects, data architects, and data modellers. We also work closely with other parts of the organisation who also are involved in development and maintenance of infrastructure and software, including Programme Teams, Engineering & Enablement, Surveillance Systems, Data Services & Quality, Genomics, Enterprise Architecture and the Development and Operations team. The DD&A team supervises and actively develops solutions and data architecture which meet both our own and wider strategies and design principles/blueprints. We also work on solution migration, consolidation, transformation, improvement, stabilisation, and decommissioning. We are seeking solution architects with AWS/Azure experience. Co-ordinate with ward staff so that in-patients are prepared and dressings removed in advance of attending the ward. Provide a service in sometimes difficult and distressing circumstances, such as trauma, burns, terminally ill patients, sexual or physical abuse, still births, specimens and post-mortemexaminations. To participate in Teledermatology clinics, providing an accurate, efficient and timely photographic service for the newly implemented patient pathway cancer referral system. To keep abreast of technological development and modern trends in clinical, scientific and technical photography. To assist in the implementation of new technologies and techniques as appropriate. For example looking at how certain patient conditions can be photographed/lit in new and innovative ways. To be responsible for understanding patient consent and its application within the field of Medical Photography. Ensuring that patients understand the nature of the photographic procedure and consequences of image consent. Understand and be able to communicate information concerning consent levels, confidentiality, distribution, copyright, security, data protection and Caldicott guidelines. This will include accommodating patients cultural and religious preferences and showing sensitivity, especially when communicating with patients with disability or anxiety. Understand and keep up-to-date with guidance in relation to the confidentiality of patients and the images, footage and information held about them on Medical Photography systems and databases. Reporting to the Director of IT (DofIT), the post holder will work closely with the Trusts technical and EPR Acceleration programme teams to aggregate the business objectives and solutions into a well-formed strategic plan. This plan will be equally innovative in its presentation and communication to our stakeholders. The role is accountable for the preparation of the pre-delivery elements of the plan and the delivery of all elements required to meet the pre-delivery phases. Once approved, this role will be responsible for the technical and commercial assurance of the associated proposals. It is the duty of the post holder to manage the delivery of strategy products, business cases and other deliverables through to the Trust board in partnership with the Director of IT and the EPR Programme Director, providing presentations and literature for the technical road map. The post will hold the financial responsibility for budgeting the strategy, ensuring the Trust is well positioned to lead the way in the delivery of fully integrated, consolidated, value-based care delivery.

You will apply your technical applications knowledge and experience to proactively manage the technical underpinning of applications within the remit of the IDT department and the team that manages and supports this with you. The Senior Integration and Solution Architect is responsible for the implementation, support and/or upgrade of complex EPR developments, developed applications, data sharing solutions and the Trust Integration Engine (TIE). The Senior Integration and Solution Architect coordinates the design, system validation, implementation and upgrade activities across developed solutions and venues of care, developing more complex aspects of the Trusts EPR systems. Key Result Areas & Performance: To manage the development of complex solutions for the Trusts clinical applications and the TIE. To respond appropriately to operational issues as required. To document and maintain existing and new data feed requirements and work with third party suppliers / trust resources in process mapping, message mapping and integration testing for these feeds. To provide oversight and risk mitigation for interface activities with technical and third-party system interface engagement teams. To provide data conversion/migration expertise. To provide technical documentation such as reference materials, installation instructions, knowledge-based articles, and specifications related to developments and interface feeds. To plan and develop a specialist arts therapies service for people with severe and enduring mental health problems on the acute and low secure wards at Park Royal Centre for Mental Health and the male inpatient rehabilitation ward at Kingswood. To offer specialist treatment for those who would benefit from psychological therapy but find primarily verbal psychotherapy difficult to access (e.g. thought disorder, cognitive difficulties, emotional withdrawal, language problems, etc.) To assess referred (self-referred) patients with respect to planning arts therapies treatment including inpatient/outpatient follow-up if appropriate, taking into account risk factors, and complexity of presentation, patients need, and service priorities.
