We are looking for a manager, ideally with a proven track record in leading small teams of accountants and bookkeepers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a recognized degree in accounting and hold an equivalent professional qualification like ACCA.

• A minimum of 5 - 10 years of progressive experience within an accounting/outsourcing firm with some managerial experience or the potential to step into a managerial role.

• Ideally a graduate with accounting or finance qualification
• Knowledge about financial instruments and IFRS 9, especially ECL. Preferably with financial services knowledge.
• At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience with an international public accounting firm or financial institution with experience in accounting advisory, statutory audit or financial reporting
• Strong analytical and communications skills.

Requirements

• Degree qualified from NTU/NUS/SMU or established universities
• Experience in Regional Accounting required
• Treasury experience or a keen interest to learn Treasury
• Ability to manage a small team
• Hospitality/ Real Estate industry exposure can be advantageous
• Prior external audit exposure can be helpful

Budget

SGD 7,500 – 8,500 per month + Bonus

Job Scope

As the Finance Manager (Treasury & Accounting), you will be responsible in managing a portfolio comprising of approximately 50% Treasury and 50% in handling overseas accounts. You will monitor and manage the Group’s treasury position, ensuring compliance with loan covenants and regulations. You will monitor funds utilization, manage funds from interests and dividends, support in bank loan financing and re-financing initiatives, maintain banking relationship, and perform hands-on interest rate analysis. You will also be responsible in managing an overseas account, in reviewing finance operations, expenditures, management reports, variance analysis, operational and statutory requirements. There may be opportunities for this position to support in deals (acquisition / divestment) and due diligence activities, review of transaction document. As part of the Group, you may also assist in financial reporting, SGX announcement and preparation of presentation to the Board and AC.
