• Serves as an air mobility subject matter expert advising senior PACAF, and 613 AOC leadership and staff on air mobility operations, issues, and concerns. Frequently performs special complex projects regarding airlift operations.

• Serves as Contracting Officer with unlimited signatory authority for a significant system or program. The programs require a diverse type of contract support, distinguished by all contract types, the aggregate value of which is in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
• Serves as Team Lead with full responsibility for the technical management of the work of a team of Contract Specialists. Acts as a technical expert on contractual and business matters for the team and provides advice relative to developing and executing acquisition strategy, including using appropriate contract types, source selection advisory information, cost and pricing issues and use of appropriate contract clauses. Reviews completed work to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory guidance and the quality of work products.
• Distributes and balances workload among employees of the team. Reports on the performance, progress, training needs, and behavioral problems of team members, relaying information and recommending action regarding the personnel needs to the supervisor.
• Directs the full range of contract administration actions required for the acquisition program, including the issuance of contract modifications, negotiation changes, exercise of options, investigation and resolution of contractor delays, contractor performance appraisal, subcontractor surveillance, disposition of claims, and similar matters. As a INSIDER THREAT INVESTIGATIONS ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties:

The incumbent will serve as an action officer supporting the requirements of the DoD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) acting as an Insider Threat Analyst in support of the Department's counter-insider threat mission and the DCSA's Adjudication and Vetting Services (AVS) mission. The selectee will be required to review reports meeting insider threat behavioral thresholds or anomalous behavior indicative of potential insider risk, access additional databases and resources, including coordination with component insider threat hubs, to help contextualize behavior, and complete analytic documents to support the DoD enterprise in mitigating risk and supporting rehabilitation of employees. This will be done in coordination with a wide range of subject matter experts available to support the analyst. The incumbent will work across divisions of the DITMAC and DCSA, coordinating with AVS to facilitate response and reporting of derogatory information, the Unauthorized Disclosure Program Management Office on coordination of the loss of classified and controlled unclassified information, the Performance, Requirements, Information, Standards, and Metrics division to ensure appropriate capture of data and statistics, the Behavioral Threat Analysis Capability division to deliver subject matter expertise to contextualize risk-based behaviors, and the User Activity Monitoring and Publicly Available Electronic Information division to help the governance and integration of those into the analytical process. This position is located in the Specialty Care Service at the Spark M. Matsunaga VA Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The physician will report directly to the Section Chief of Cardiology.

Major duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct physical examinations and treatment, including echocardiography, stress testing, event/holter monitoring and other modalities related to the practice of Cardiology. Coordination of medical care with primary care providers, other subspecialists, social workers, data managers, pharmacists, dietitians, nursing, and other personnel as a leader of a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize telemedicine to provide care to outer Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
• Ensures that high quality patient care is delivered in a resourceful and efficient manner.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with Cardiology disorders.
• Perform procedures related to the Cardiology sub subspecialty.
• Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and treatment of disease.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills that enable them to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
• Potentially expand on a Clinician-Educator role as part of an Academic Affiliation with University of Hawaii.
• Provide resident and/or trainee supervision, as necessary and/or appropriate.
