• Regularly monitor the CRM system to identify current and past opportunities, promoting relevant products to customers

• Support customers with enquiries, rerouting them to the appropriate department / responsible person where necessary

• Help generate leads for both short- and long-term sales opportunities

• Engage with the existing customer base to gather reviews, case studies, citations, and referrals

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the company’s colleagues to maximise sales revenue and deliver excellent customer service

• Keep accurate customer contact records within the company CRM system

• Agree upon and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales excellence

• Assist the wider sales team with ongoing tenders and sales administration tasks


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Highly self-motivated, proactive, quick learner, and organised

• Positive, can-do attitude; friendly, creative, and focused

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite

• Ability to maintain accurate customer records

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks

• Previous experience in inside sales or administration

• Experience working for a medium-sized global company

• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in customer service and sales

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Outlook

• At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) at grade C (4) or above

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Qualification in Customer Service and/or Sales

• Experience using a CRM system to maintain customer records

• Prior experience in customer service or sales of technical products

• Level 3 qualification in English or Science-based subjects
