We are currently recruiting for a Stock Control Team Manager to manage the stock control team and the accuracy of stock in all chambers at depot level.

The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to the stock control team, ensuring that objectives and the departments key tasks are efficiently met, workloads are well balanced, and the team are motivated and clear of individual and department objectives.

This role is also responsible for ensuring the effective control of client non-conforming products in line with Audit requirements and to work effectively and inclusively as part of the w/house management team, to encourage and strive for continuous improvement in client product availability, warehouse efficiency, reducing stock loss and encouraging colleague participation and inclusion at all levels.

• Ensure all product isolations and/or recalls (mock or otherwise) are carried out and documented as per BFL process and in line with relevant food safety legislation
• To manage the PI cycle and counts from the PI Clerks, monitoring, investigating and reporting on stock issues to the w/house management team and supply chain/NAMs as appropriate
• The timely investigation and correction of ledger/SAP/ Goods receipt queries
• Investigate and report back to CAD on customer shortages, pick errors and credit requests
• To ensure new lines (SKU) are given appropriate pick locations in a timely fashion for allocations and promotions
• Review and continually look to improve pick layout for increased productivity and reduced damages
• Arrange dead stock/charity collection and write off (Working to net zero food waste targets)
• Ensure Administration of IBT documentation takes place within depot
• To monitor and manage product shelf life and best before dates (stock rotation)
• To ensure that extensive communication channels exist and are upheld between suppliers, managers, in-house colleagues and external depots
• Ensure warehouse consumables are ordered and stocked to the correct levels in depot
• To train and develop his/her team
• Carry out appraisals and regular one to one’s with team as appropriate

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Provide complaint trending analyses to support improvement of products manufactured in the facility and prepare trend reports for site Complaint Review Board.
• Maintain knowledge of product quality controls and failure modes.
• Evaluate complaint samples and provide training for complaint sample evaluations.
• Initiate and perform investigations, (Complaint investigations and Non-Conformance investigations) and Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions (CAPA) while providing guidance and approval, maintain & follow up on Quality Corrective Action Plans using Root Cause analysis tools and data evaluation.
• Provide Progress Reports and trending to show product quality levels and respond to regulatory requests.

Additional responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement projects, quality issue resolution, Non-conformances/CAPAs, and Quality System activities for the complaint handling process.
• Use various statistical and non-statistical problem-solving tools as part of analysis of data, issues, or improvement opportunities.
• Actively participate and chip into routine platform-based meetings and change control activities.
• Provide Quality Assurance support and guidance on medical device products, process, and document changes to assure compliance with site Quality Systems procedures.
• Consistent track record to handle time efficiently and meet target quotas under pressure.

Nature and Scope

The primary responsibilities of the Manufacturing Quality Engineer is to assure timely and accurate completion of investigations and CAPAs.  This position will organize and communicate events between Manufacturing, the Process Investigations Team, and Deviations Management as well as bring visibility to open investigations as they relate to priority for review and disposition of materials.  This individual will take a scientific and risk-based approach to exemplify unwavering commitment to product quality and patient safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete or assign investigations and CAPAs related to Manufacturing departments (Formulation, Equipment Prep, Sterile Filling, Autoclave, Inspection, Packaging, Facilities and Engineering).
• Technical writing to support manufacturing operations including but not limited to, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), CAPAs, change controls, risk assessments, protocols, batch records and white papers.
• Review of product support documentation (e.g., batch records, process validation, work orders and logbooks).
• Perform root-cause analysis for events utilizing investigation tools (e.g., 5 whys, 6M, Fishbone Diagrams)
• Initiate and complete or assign corrective action or preventive actions (CAPAs) to resolve and prevent recurrence of events.
• Utilize project management tools to drive critical CAPAs and their associated work to effective and timely completion.
• Utilize risk management tools for recommendation on disposition of materials.
• Act as liaison between Manufacturing and Quality including Deviations Management for the acceptability and timeliness of investigations.
• Act as liaison between Manufacturing and Quality including CAPA Management for the acceptability and timeliness of CAPAs.
• Present completed investigations to Deviations Management for review, reconciling the investigations against feedback to facilitate final approval.
• Facilitate, track, and trend all assigned Manufacturing investigations, CAPAs, protocols, and change controls.
• Support Manufacturing and Quality departments to assist in data collection activities and prepare necessary documentation, as needed. 
• Assist Manufacturing personnel as needed to assure investigations and CAPAs are conducted according to established standards and remain compliant.
• Support data tracking and metrics for Manufacturing investigations and CAPAs.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline, required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with sterile manufacturing and/or Quality Systems, required.

Expected Salary Range:

$89,100-$95,000
