Contribute to the development and implementation of the communications strategy, taking a lead in delivering elements of the accompanying action plans. Produce, coordinate and edit high-quality written and online communications, often containing complex information, and disseminating this to internal and external audiences. This includes, but not limited to, newsletters, bulletins, website content, intranet content, leaflets and posters. Work with staff across LMP to provide effective communications advice and support, or referring them to the most appropriate person. Plan and implement time-limited communication projects. Create rich content using a range of techniques, including words, photography, video and design skills (such as Canva) to help us communicate with staff, patients and stakeholders in engaging and exciting ways. Ensure successful completion of internal communications within set deadlines. Undertake in house graphic design as required, e.g. to produce leaflets and posters. Coordinate the distribution of a variety of publications. Obtain competitive quotes on print and design and execute working with the Head of Corporate Services. Liaise with external suppliers, particularly designers and printers to ensure the timely production of high quality publications. Populate and maintain a live social media content calendar. Manage and monitor all LMP social media platforms. Respond to social media posts, including compliments and complaints, in line with practice policies. Support with the development and continual updating and review of the website for LMP. Create video content to support both patients and clinicians. Process any media enquiries in line with LMPs media policy, noting relevant information so that colleagues can respond quickly and effectively, escalating quickly where these are urgent. Monitor press and media coverage, taking appropriate action where necessary. Coordinate and support LMP events. Represent LMP at external events. Take photographs of LMP events and other activities as required for internal or external use, ensuring that the required consent and all appropriate documentation is in place. Maintain relevant records, ensuring accurate data input into computerised systems and ensure confidentiality is maintained in line with legislation and LMP policies. Undertake effective evaluation of campaigns and events, including insight and analytics statistics. Support in providing responses to patient queries. Support the Senior Leadership Team with the planning and delivery of patient participation groups. Support the Senior Leadership Team with the planning, delivery and analysis of patient satisfaction surveys. Undertake audits or surveys and interpret the results to identify steps to improve the quality of internal and external communications, recommending and implementing changes in liaison with the Head of Corporate Services and other Senior Leadership Team. Monitor assigned generic inboxes, dealing with incoming communications to ensure these are actioned and shared appropriately. Ensure effective processes and practices in place to disseminate and action relevant National Patient Safety Alerts, Urgent Public Health Messages and MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) alerts,external safety alerts, recalls, enquiries, investigations or reviews reflecting relevant legislation and local requirements. Prioritise workload, with varying deadlines, to ensure personal deadlines and those of the team are met.
