The Manufacturing Engineering role will be responsible for sustaining production equipment and automated manufacturing processes as well as providing technical support to production team in generation of products for sale shipment. The role will also drive manufacturing improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, efficiency and cost as required by the business unit.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
· Provides production support that oversees & resolves daily manufacturing issues related to process yield, productivity, and uptime availability of automated assembly & testing machinery, and robotics pick-and-place.
· Troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components of the product, manufacturing tooling and equipment to ensure production continuity.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement projects in manufacturing efficiency, yield, productivity, quality & safety, and reliability, that translated into cost reduction.
· Identify and implement optimization to improve automation machine OEE through machine performance tracking and analysis, and preventive maintenance program.
· Conducts engineering evaluation and pilot run, apply statistical process analysis, and provide results for process improvement and changes validation.
· Develops method, machines / equipment, jig & fixtures, and work instructions as required in manufacturing process.
· Participate or even lead new / transferred product manufacturing development.
· Performing tasks in compliance with Environmental, Safety and Health requirement, participating and contributing to organization drive toward safety & health continuous improvement.
· Maintains manufacturing engineering documents in compliance to ISO QMS.
· Review, approve and implement engineering change notice related to products and processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
· Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing automation environment.
· Sound knowledge of mechanical and electro-pneumatics components used for manufacturing.
· Experience in parts manufacturing industry such as injection molding, precision metal fabrication or tooling development.
· Acquire structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Able to hand-on in equipment maintenance, engineering evaluation and experiments.
· Action oriented, self-motivated learner, able to communicate effectively and collaborate with others.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
· Knowledge in using statistical and CAD tool is an advantage.
