Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Packaging Design Engineer at Transpak Penang Sdn Bhd located in Sungai Jawi.

• Responsible for supporting packaging engineering initiatives and processes from concept to production stages.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth implementation of packaging designs, providing guidance and support during the production process.
• Work with and support TransPak team members from various countries in Asia, US, and other divisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product designers, engineers, and marketing to gather requirements and understand product specifications.
• Analyze drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item and types of materials required for packaging.
• Troubleshoot new and existing packaging problems involving designs, materials, and processes to enhance packaging designs and optimize production efficiency.
• Interact with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source and qualify materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and select packaging suppliers; periodically conduct vendor reviews.
• Maintain accurate documentation of packaging designs, specifications, and testing results.

Qualifications

STORE ASSISTANT (SA)

Job Description

This appointment requires you to be substantially involved in the coordination of the supply chain management of Hydac’s products (complete range) within Malaysia and Brunei. Being a SA, your functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items.

2. Receive, pull stock, store, and maintain warehouse inventory.

3. Examine stock and dispose of depreciated and obsolete stock following the organization’s policy.

4. Responsible for stock control and housekeeping operations of warehouse cargo and items.

5. Responsible for the maintenance of inventory of parts and equipment on hand.

6. Performing regular stock take.

7. Pick and Pack.

8. To ensure stock are properly packed for shipment.

9. To work with the various departments on stocks transfer / request.

10. Monitor and maintain records of inventories up to date.

11. Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued.

12. Operate forklift to move goods around warehouse and for loading/unloading.
