RESPONSIBILITIES
Sign up new merchants for GPMO by making cold calls, following up on partner generated sales leads and by creating referrals from existing merchants.
Develop and manage account relationships in the assigned merchant portfolio.
Ensure account opening/operations and services provided by vendors/support departments meet merchant’s satisfaction.
Cross sells other products and services to maximize business profitability
Researches and identifies industry and competitor best practices and trends to increase effectiveness and successful rate of sales pitching
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
2 years and above sales experience in the financial services industry with proven results.
Experienced in merchant sales and services is a plus
University degree preferred. Graduate from Business or Management discipline will be an asset
Self-motivated, mature and independent, able to work well with minimal supervision.
Entrepreneurial character, capable of developing & executing an effective sales strategy for the assigned territory.
Good selling, negotiation and presentation skills, interpersonal technique
Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Hardworking and enjoy performing outdoor sales activities
