• Provide forwarding/ logistics solutions to customers and guide the customer on shipping, customs clearance and logistics matter.
• Update daily container movement planning.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact with all carriers and shipping agents; and reviewing performance and rates to ensure best value.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Coordinating company imports and exports and liaising with shipping agents to ensure accurate customs declarations.
• Reviewing carrier invoices and managing the process of recharging customers where applicable.
• Liaising between clients and shipping companies to resolve any complaints.
• Coordinating warehouse staff to enable effective land-based product shipping.
