Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated finance professional to join our Channel Finance team as a Finance Business Partner. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing financial analysis and support to our Channel Strategy team, Channel Operation team, financial analysis team, sales finance directors, and other key stakeholders.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, delivering reliable and accurate financial data, modeling, and analysis. You will need to have a strong understanding of the business and be able to articulate the impact of financial decisions beyond just the numbers.
We are looking for someone who is technically sound, passionate about process improvement, detail-oriented, and able to think strategically. You must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work proactively in a highly collaborative environment. You should also be comfortable managing tight deadlines and be open to changes.
Responsibilities
Establish strong partnerships with the Channel Strategy team, Channel Operation team, financial analysis team, sales finance directors, and other finance business partners to provide financial analysis and forecast support for the assigned business group
Communicate effectively with business partners to provide updates on processes, key deliverables, and timelines
Build automation dashboards for business transformation initiatives
Manage quarter-end executive reporting and presentations, and support quarterly operations reviews and quarterly business reviews with stakeholders
Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis, build financial reports and models, and provide insightful commentary on business performance
Work across functions to drive efficient processes and systems, and leverage best practices
Lead or participate in projects related to process improvement
Liaise with the Corporate Finance team and other cross-functional teams as required
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plus
Minimum 5 years of related experience
Financial planning & analysis experience is highly preferred
Advanced skills in Power BI, Python, SQL language is preferred
Strong aptitude for, and experience with, financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Data Warehousing, SAP, BPC, Hyperion etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership potential
High energetic, and self-motivated, capable of working to firm deadlines

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,900 and $166,540. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
