The Data Processing Specialist is responsible for data coding and data input validation focusing on specific industry/category or set of categories (e.g., Beverages, Food, Health, and Beauty Products). As a Data Processing Specialist at NielsenIQ, you support the create and deliver client output deliveries in a correct and timely manner. This role is to support New Zealand market (CI). 

• Be the contact for commercial queries, leading the resolution in a client-focused and timely manner in cooperation with Client Liaison and Commercial teams. To be able to identify, investigate and coordinate the resolution of data, process, or product related queries
• Plan and execute a complex daily personal workload and support to meet departmental and company schedules
• Analyze and identify gaps and areas for improvement in coding, data input validation and client instructions environments (CIP - Consumer Information Platform) and drive the convergence of processes and tools
• Providing accurate and timely feedback to respective country teams, driving SOP and use of best-demonstrated practices

The Reference Data Specialist is responsible for instructions of client deliverables, coding and data input validation focusing on specific industry/category or set of categories (e.g. Beverages, Food, Health and Beauty Products). As a Reference Data Specialist at NielsenIQ, you create and deliver client outputs in a correct and timely manner. This role will support Taiwan market, therefore Traditional Chinese is mandatory. 

• Responsible for instructions of client deliverables, coding and data input validation focusing on specific industry/category or set of categories.
• Does cross coding and item-related quality checks on a daily basis
• May act as a back-up to other coders when needed; conduct physical store check to validate item-related information
• Keep track/document special instructions related to category assignment
• Plan and execute a complex daily personal workload and support to meet departmental and company schedules
• Ensure accuracy throughout the process, from validation before database setup to managing samples, and identify areas for improvement
• Answer external questions and act as a liaison with everyone from clients to stakeholders; To be able to identify, investigate and coordinate the resolution of data, process, or product related queries
• Willing to be trained to be a category expert

The Senior Data Processing Specialist is responsible for instructions of client deliverables, coding and data input validation focusing on specific industry/category or set of categories.To create and deliver client outputs in a correct and timely manner.

• Responsible for the timely provision of data in the highest quality according to the agreed service level and requirements
• Process defined reports, schedules and processes by adhering to defined procedures, delivery schedules, and SLAs
• Acts as the clients' advocate within NOC by providing feedback on clients' needs, and challenging internal processes to best deliver on those needs
• Provide constructive input to Process Owners / Team Leads / Operations Manager to optimize and improve Operations effectiveness
• Understand the relationship of assigned processes to both upstream and downstream processes to guarantee clean data is delivered by eliminating the need for re-work from any Operations team
• Delivers databases and outputs based on client specifications on time and at expected quality as well as engaging with stakeholders

The primary role (Suitable for Beginners)

• Web scrapping using HTML and Python on beautiful soup, Sellenium, Pycharm and more
• To check and ensure that the data in the csv. files match what is on the websites and that the code is working and then keeping/storing the csv files into Dropbox

Other roles if not assigned Webscrapping.

• Manual software testing for our website and application and documenting any issues, bugs or errors found as well as any possible solutions for them
• Automation testing using Cypress.io to automate the bug testing process
• AI automation testing using the Recombee platform (Suitable for Machine Learning, AI or Data Science majors)
• Research into the best ways to develop/create/establish a system or element of our platform like chatbots, automated responses, etc if needed
• If needed: Using Adobe XD to open prototype designs and analyze the UI/UX
• If needed: Assisting senior developers by coordinating project management activities using Jira

Note: We mainly use Skype and Dropbox, but with seniors developer you may also have the opportunity to use Microsoft Teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Learning needs analysis and implementation

• Support on learning needs collection and analysis and propose yearly learning plan for employees, verify the learning plan based on business needs and individual growth path, and suggest the best learning activities
• Market research on skill development trends and learning trends for the industry, propose and refine the learning direction
• Manage the training provider pool, maintain the relationship, and explore new suitable learning providers, tools, or methods
• Organize, implement, and facilitate the learning activities, training courses effectively to build target knowledge, skills, and behavior, through physical, virtual, or blended format
• Learning marketing, to promote E-learning system, or specific courses, to encourage learning culture
• E-learning system management, create live courses, promote learning course-based employee needs, support country HRs to well use the system and solve help to solve issues
• Manage the training operation (including registration, attendance, record uploading etc.), track the training course evaluation and feedback, propose improvement, and increase the overall satisfaction and engagement
• Monitor learning metrics of learning data, reporting and keep improving to meet the ongoing business needs

Development Programs support

• Support on development programs implementation, including some regional programs like Peer coaching, Trading Academy, Mentoring or Coaching
• Keep track of rotation program of corporate graduate trainees and ensure completion of evaluation after each rotation cycle, support on learning activities and events
• Other Duties – regional learning metrics tracking and support, and ad hoc project

Experiences:

• 5 years of learning & development experiences
• Knowledgeable on Learning Experience Platform, LXP, data management system
• Workday experience will be plus
