DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- To operate a company vehicle in the handling of transportation of scheduled wastes.
- Transports loads safely and promptly over the required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
- To ensure the company’s vehicle conditions are well maintained and cleaned at all times.
- To be responsible for updating and maintaining the vehicle maintenance log.
- To be responsible for updating any documentation related to the company’s vehicle (LPKP, PUSPAKOM etc.).
- To be responsible for monitoring the vehicle’s license to be up to date and communicating with a respective person in charge for the arrangement of license renewal.
- Facilitates routine inspection of the company’s vehicles, which may include checking oil, water, fuel, and air; and performing minor troubleshooting if necessary. To report maintenance malfunctions to the Supervisor and communicate with a mechanic.
- To be responsible for keeping commercial driver's license up to date.
- To adhere to the company’s rules and regulations. Report any HSE issues or incidents to the personnel in charge.
- To maintain a positive attitude and good communication towards others at all times.
- To perform general work when there is no driver duty and as required, including assisting other departments including but not limited to Warehouse, WWTP, and OSRP.
- To understand and maintain QMS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- In addition to the roles and responsibilities, employees always have to take care of the safety and health of themselves and other employees in accordance with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994 Section 24 PART VI GENERAL DUTIES OF EMPLOYEES.
- To perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT:-
- SPM/ Diploma or an equivalency.
- Minimum three (3) years working experience in operating heavy-duty vehicles or related fields.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess valid driving license class D, GDL and E Full (stiff & jointed).
- Good knowledge and practice skills in vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to meet task’s datelines.
- Knowledgeable about scheduled waste management as well as its laws and regulations.
- Disciplined, able to accept instructions and have a high work ethic.

Officially operating in January 2014 after establishment on 17th November 2009. SCOR aims to align with government's effort to move from incineration and landfill to 4R which is Reduce, Reuse, Recover and Recycle for waste management. Starting as a DOE licensed storage and transporter to collect the SW within Labuan F.T., SCOR has taken another step to extend its service in the Scheduled Waste Management.
In December 2017, SCOR has received Wastewater Treatment Facility license and Oil & Solvent Recovery Facility license in 29 January 2018. On top of that, SCOR also licensed by PETRONAS on Health & Safety Environment (HSE) - Waste Management, Leasing & Rental Container and Vessel Cleaning Service.
