Job Description & Requirements

Service Engineer/Service technician is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and repairs of SMARDT Chillers and related products and services. He/She works closely with the service team and other department staff, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, assistance, and advice at all times.

· Carry out the commissioning, maintenance, service repairs and assembly of SMARDT Chillers throughout the Singapore region, including breakdown repairs that may require working outside of normal business hours.

· Work closely with the Service Team and other department staff to identify and communicate service-related matters that will assist Smardt customers and products.

· Support the achievement of Smardt direct service provision in the Singapore region, while always maintaining safe work practices.

· Regular housekeeping.

Requirements:

· Must be a qualified and licensed air conditioning technician working in the HVAC industry for min. 5 years.

· Must have experience working with central plants and chillers

· Centrifugal refrigeration compressor and oil-free compressor experience will be highly regarded

· Solid grasp of Chiller Controls and Plant Control Systems is essential

· Computer literacy is essential

· Experience in Training others is highly regarded

Main Responsabilités

• Install, service, repair and overhaul basic machineries, pumps, valves, compressors and conveying systems
• Trouble shooting and problem solving on Process Plant Equipment as requested by Operations, or as required due to failures
• Supervise the works carried out by contractors and manage in-house contractor’s team in carrying out plant maintenance involving PTW, RA, LOTOTO, Lifting plan and all safe work procedures
• Carry out routine Monitoring and Maintenance of Process Plant Equipment
• Establish good Preventive maintenance and CBM plan to provide the highest possible availability of all the plant equipment
• Support Mechanical integrity program and Statutory equipment inspection plan

• Receive instructions, work orders and safety permits for the troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or overhaul equirements of equipment

The Role

This position will be responsible for supporting the administrative services in the planning, organising, and implementing various administrative functions and initiatives in the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) function.
