Job Summary
The Office Services Technician, Mail Center focused, is responsible for acceptance & distribution of all mail, parcel & freight, as well as processing all outbound express courier shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc). This position will be responsible for picking up mail from the USPS each morning. Additionally, this technician will monitor Device Alerts for a growing fleet of large multi-function departmental printers, single-function desktop and shared printers, as well as wide-format plotters and scanners deployed throughout the building. This position will assist in supporting work produced in the CLR Corporate Print Center as needed. Office Services Technicians will be able to adapt quickly to requests by users while meeting specific service levels and participate on a team of Administrative Service professionals, providing outstanding customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities
Pick up the mail each morning at the Main Post Office, PO Box Caller Service Section.
Sort and deliver all incoming mail, interoffice mail, and parcel shipments for the entire company.
Reconcile all shipment documentation for all inbound freight to ensure accuracy and appropriate final delivery instructions.
Inspect all inbound shipments for any potential damage or missing items, prior to signature of acceptance.
Process all outgoing USPS mail as well as all express courier (UPS, FedEx, etc) shipments daily. This includes the proper packaging of high-value IT assets, and other fragile items, in an appropriate manner to survive the harsh shipping environment.
Monitor and maintain paper and toner supply for a fleet of multi-function printers, desktop printers, single-function shared printers, and wide-format plotters.
Monitor all devices for status warnings on a daily basis, providing 1st level trouble shooting support and escalation to Senior Tech, or Lead Tech for 2nd level trouble shooting, to both avoid a service call and to restore the operational status of the machine quickly for our end users.
Provide operational support as needed to the Print Center, learning basic operation of various production printers and print-finishing equipment.
Provide ‘hot-shot’ services any time during the workday, picking up supplies, making deliveries, etc.
Maintain security and proper handling of confidential and proprietary information.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Previous mail center, print center, and/or other related experience
A valid driver’s license with good driving record
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires some periods of sitting. Also and more frequently, standing and walking with great regularity throughout workday.
Requires bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing carts and dollies load with supplies.
Occasional lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds multiple times per day.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, to make fine adjustments to equipment.
Ability to work around loud printing and mailing equipment.
