What will you do?

The purpose of the HR Manager, IKEA Klang Valley (KV) role is to lead and execute people strategies that drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and business growth. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Lead the KV HR team and serve as a key contributor to the KV management team, providing HR subject matter expertise and strategic guidance.
• Translate the Country People Strategy and Ikano Retail principles into an actionable local HR plan to establish IKEA as the employer of choice in the KV.
• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, focusing on:

• Ensure competitive and fair remuneration practices to attract and retain talent while managing staff costs in line with targets and budgets.
• Lead salary review processes and utilize HR data analytics to optimize related processes, such as payroll, timekeeping, and staff planning.
• Implement and analyze employee surveys (VOICE) and assist functions in translating results into actionable improvement plans.

REQUIREMENT FOR THE JOB

• You have at least 20 years of working experience in Human Resource Management or business partnering roles, preferably from the retail or manufacturing industry, and have experience in a large and complex organizational setup.

• Leads new SSD product development from concept design and qualification to mass production.
• Generate innovative product concepts and transform them into tangible, market-ready products.
• Work closely with global functional teams in US, India, South Korea, and Israel, review feasibility design drawings and propose design options.
• Collaborate extensively with internal teams, validate design options through characterization builds, perform comprehensive DFX (Design for eXellence) analysis, including DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), DFRW (Design for Rework), as well as Cost and UPH (unit per hour) analysis, review mechanical and electrical simulations, initiate assembly process flow, and deliver most optimized design for manufacturing with yield and quality.

The Policy & Total Reward Manager is responsible for the payroll activities like time and attendance, administration, process and policies. The Policy & Total Reward Manager guarantees that salaries and wages are paid accurately on time and in line with the applicable legislation.

Responsibilities/ Key Activities:

• Conduct Market Analysis and Salary Survey Participation and implement market analysis to ensure internal and external equity and market competitiveness
• Roll-out and follow-up of reward programs including the development, implementation, annual review/updating of salary structures, and the annual merit process

Position Summary: The Mechanical Testing and Reliability Technician is responsible for conducting mechanical tests to ensure product durability and performance. This role involves hands-on work with electro-mechanical lab equipment

• Mechanical and Environmental Testing: Perform mechanical testing, including vibration, shock, HALT, Insertion, and drop testing, as well as accelerated environmental testing in compliance with reliability standards.

• Lab Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain electro-mechanical lab equipment such as environmental chambers, vibration testers, shock testers, drop testers, and other relevant testing tools.

• Measurement and Data Analysis: Utilize measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, microscopes, strain gauges, and accelerometers to gather data, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.

• Schematics and Drawings Interpretation: Read and interpret simple schematics and mechanical drawings to guide testing procedures and fixture design.

• Test Fixture Development: Co-develop and design custom mechanical test fixtures for various package form factors

• Solder Joint Analysis (SJA) for NPI and sustaining testing phase
• Utilize FA tools such as X-ray, oscilloscope, curve tracer, microscope, CSAM, SEM, EDX, TDR, cross-sectioning, dye/pull techniques, and more for detailed analysis.
• Generate SJA summaries based on findings and provide detailed reports to engineers.
• Maintain and update SJA tracking sheets and equipment log sheets to ensure proper documentation.
• Assist FA engineers with assigned tasks, supporting root-cause analysis and enhancing product reliability.

Purchasing Buyer is responsible for supporting the procurement process by handling administrative tasks such as purchase order creation, vendor communication, and delivery  management. This role ensures that purchasing activities are processed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company policies.

• Purchase Order Processing:
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions and ensure accuracy in details such as quantity, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Submit POs to suppliers and follow up on confirmation and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates in procurement software or ERP systems.
• Vendor Communication:

As a Test Engineer -Process, you will lead the Project improvement in Burn In area, and support execution and manufacturing issues related to Test Process, and continue improve manufacturing issues with new ideas from time to time through close collaboration across teams and disciplines.
