• The scope of the bimanipulation project will concerning the development of Model-free Adaptive Control to drive robotic arm for pick&-place operation as well as push/pull of the cart.
• The assigned post graduate student will be focusing on encoding the recently developed MFAC algorithm from the simulated environment (firstly, from the Matlab codes and then later to be ported to ROS2 Humble system in the ROS Gazebo environment) to the actual humanoid’s robotic arm for practical demonstration.
• There upon, the MFAC algorithm design and synthesis will be carried out to suit for the pick-and-place demand of a humanoid robot. The algorithm provides a significant advantage of controlling the highly nonlinear 7 DOF robotic arm without a-priori information of the system parameters, load characteristics and other uncertainty.
• The model-free approach adopts the philosophy of data-driven, i.e. the control is able to adapt to the changes in the robot arm characteristics, loading characteristics as well as the interacting environment with which it will be commissioned to engage. This will be accomplished with the least supervision from a human operator.

The lab's function is to provide analysis and test support to the operations team, assist with regular production monitoring, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and develop new testing methods to meet evolving process or technology requirement.

Senior Manager in this role will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative packaging solutions and requires a deep understanding of solid-state device physics, materials science, and packaging technologies, and expected to manage all aspects of packaging technologies required for Materials Center of Excellence (MCoE). Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations, and require a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities. Candidate shall be specialized in advanced 3D & heterogenous packaging solutions, plays a critical role in ensuring successful and efficient implementation of next gen flash products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Planning: Develops and implements long-term strategies on introducing advanced materials for solid-state device packaging to align with overall business objectives and market trends.
• Team Leadership: Manages and motivates a team of packaging engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Material & Process Optimization: Identifies and implements advanced materials to be used in packaging processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance and reliability of solid-state devices.
• Technology Evaluation: Assesses new packaging technologies and materials specifically designed for solid-state devices, such as advanced thermal management solutions and new gen 3D packaging techniques.
• Supplier Management: Oversees relationships with suppliers of packaging materials, equipment, and testing services tailored for SiP & Solid-state devices.
• Budget Management: Develops and manages budgets for Materials CoE Lab & path finding projects for next gen drives.
• Quality Control: Ensures that packaging operations adhere to strict quality standards and regulations specific to materials used in flash devices.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards related to solid-state device packaging.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Coordinates the introduction of new materials in packaging technologies and processes for SSD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Implement a comprehensive communication and branding plan to engage internal and external stakeholders for the Flash Backend Operations (FBE).
• Support to manage and enhance the FBE organization's brand image and reputation through creative messaging and effective campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including digital, print, and social media.
• Support the management of the multimedia communications for the FBE organization.
• Manage and maintain the webpage by developing new and relevant content.
• Support in the engagement strategy to ensure FBE employees stay engaged in creating a Great Place to Work (GPTW).
• Curate specific engagement activities to elevate FBE employee experience
• Deploy GPTW elements to increase engagement at FBE level.
• Develop and deploy key business analytics to measure effectiveness of communications.

• Responsible for WB Process Recipe/Process Parameters setup
• Define the process window and recipe baseline by using JMP DOE approach.
• Good in problem solving and work on the Root Cause Analysis/Finding using, 5 whys, DMAIC, 8D approach/methodology
• Work closely with Cross site’s Package development team to understand the Package Design Rules & Requirements
• Ensure smooth transition from Development to new product qualification phase
• Work closely with manufacturing process and equipment team, and cross site process development team
• Documentation: SOP, WI, FMEA, OCAP and Control Plan for related process.
• Ensure effective hand shake/pass over of process for New device/product introduction to the production line and new process technology capabilities development.
• Responsible for new material/component first article inspection and final buyoff.
• Continuous improvement on direct/indirect material/UPH cost down & yield enhancement program.
• Ensure robustness of process control to meet yield & through-put expectation.
• Report any non-conformance/customer complaint issue and develop/follow up the improvement actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide mechanical simulations and solutions for edge-cutting flash memory products.
• Develop inhouse structural simulation automation platform based on commercial softwares (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Predict and define structural risks and mechanisms using simulation tools for electronic packaging design, assembly and reliabilities.
• Material characterization for simulation accuracy and efficiency improvement  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to Production Planning Supervisor.
• Plan, schedule, monitor and follow up closely on production performance and expedite the work order to ensure shipments to customer are meet.
• Regular interface with Production Manager/Supervisor/Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers and other required personnel to achieve the output goal and shipment requirement.
• To communicate and coordinate especially with Production team regularly to ensure smooth flow of production.
• To prepare reports in timely manner.
• Required to working in shift and station in Production Office.
• Any other tasks related to planning that assigned by superior from time to time.
• Participate in Improvement Projects related to Planning/Manufacturing or Automation

• Coordinating SSD mechanical qualification efforts for new products and change in designs, materials, or processes 
• Involve in mechanical reliability test include but not limited to solder joint analysis, environmental test, mechanical stress & solderability
• Providing recommendations on product release based on package reliability test results
• Jointly assess risk associated with excursions, conversions, reliability  ,qualification issues.
• Manage reliability schedule plan to stakeholders and provide progress update in timely manner
• Coordinate with technician to perform daily execution to meet project schedule
• Initiate failure tracker in JIRA and ensure it's properly closed
• Review Mechanical test result and provide recommendation
• Involve in New Product Introduction phase for tester bring up & resource readiness.
