Production Operative responsibilities:
* Working on a production line, loading & unloading trays from conveyor belts

* Use of various machines and tools
* Manual lifting to 25 kg

Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaising with Design, Quality, Production and Planning for New Product Introduction
• Developing and improving manufacturing processes for new products
• Problem solving and continuous improvement of production operations
• Creating process flow documents, SOPs, PFMEAs and control plans
• CNC programming using CAD/CAM
• Responsible for identifying areas of improvement and producing detailed plans to increase production flows, decrease cost and increasing efficiencies

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of design for manufacture to enable manufacturing and assembly processes
• Needs experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
• Must be able to programme and prove-out using edgeCAM or Fusion360 - Will look at other software's
• Able to carry out production projects through APQP, PFMEA, SOPs and DFM
• Must be capable of prototype machining
