Principal Accountabilities | Global Head of Engineering and Capital Projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and stakeholders, to drive the successful delivery of iGaming products and services.
• Direct the team in the development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable, and performant React and C++ applications for our iGaming platform.
• Utilise your expertise in live casino environments to ensure a seamless integration of live casino experiences within the iGaming offerings.
• Establish and maintain project plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation, realistic timelines, and effective risk management.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, project status, and any potential challenges or risks.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and other key stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process where applicable.


The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within the iGaming industry.
• Strong background in game engineering and leading a full stack engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of live casino experiences and the technical requirements involved.
• Experience in people management, including hiring, performance evaluation, and team development.

Job Purpose:

To provide effective leadership of the Teledyne Marine Aberdeen engineering team and development projects.  Coordinating and taking the lead for projects and non-project team activities as well as other management tasks as allocated to you.  

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide supervision to engineers to include day to day workload and planning.
•    Research and evaluate new technologies.
•    Assist R&D Director as well as Product owners with strategic direction for new products & technologies.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
• 2+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Experience applying expertise of the principles, concepts, and techniques in computer science and electrical engineering to produce targeted scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) products of weapon systems
• Knowledge of multiple software programing languages, including C++, Python, and assembly, to understand critical software functionality of weapon systems
• Ability to write assessments and technical reports based on engineering and computer science analysis of weapon system software and firmware
• Ability to triage new software sets to identify priority software for deeper analysis
• Ability to analyze software or firmware extracted from weapon systems for capability and performance characterization as well as vulnerability assessments, and extract software or firmware from printed circuit boards
• Ability to utilize open source, commercially available, and government produced tools to support technical analysis of software systems, perform digital forensics analysis of memory devices to recover valuable information in system analysis, and produce working virtual machines from software sets provided that may need specific support software or hardware drivers to be produced
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal 
• Knowledge of acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
